Cosmin Frăteanu was born and raised in Onești, Romania. He holds a Meng degree in Electronic Engineering with Music Technology Systems from the University of York and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Orthodox Theology and Social Care at the Orthodox Theological Academy of Moldova.
Cosmin enjoys anything technical and making things work and is particularly fascinated both by the unseen world of sounds and the unseen aspects of human life.
As an Engineering student, Cosmin spent a year in industry working for MQA with a focus on DSP and Music Data Analysis. As an Audio-Visual Technician for YSLV, he installed large LED screens and sound systems for live events and he also used his technical skills while working at Landlord Broadband.
Cosmin joined Audio Analytic in January 2019 and did his Meng project within the company, looking at Data Augmentation for Sound Recognition and following completion, joined Audio Analytic as a Machine Learning Engineer. In addition, Cosmin has been an Altar server since January 2018 in the Orthodox Parish of St Ephraim the Syrian, Cambridge.
