Next week, we will be heading to the prestigious IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (aka ICASSP), which is the world’s largest and most comprehensive technical conference focused on signal processing and its applications to audio. It takes place from the 12th to the 17th of May in Brighton, UK.

Alongside other world experts like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google,, Microsoft and Sony we will be exhibiting. This provides our R&D team with an opportunity to talk about the cutting-edge work that we are doing in our specialist realm of AI for machine listening.

For the first time, we will be showing off our Sound Map, which plots all sounds based on their ideophonic features and on Tuesday, May 14th we’ll be releasing the results of our extensive consumer research into artificial intelligence on hearables.

Delegates at the event can join us at 15:30 on the 14th for a drink and pick up a copy of the full report which examines attitudes to AI and advanced features powered by intelligent sound recognition.
